Concerts, Breweries, & Festivals: April Events around the Triangle

With the arrival of spring—and Raleigh Beer Month—the April events schedule is maybe the most packed month of the year.

From arts festivals to craft beer celebrations, take a look at the biggest highlights happening around the Triangle next month, and mark a few down onto your calendar!

Dreamville Festival

A large concert.

Hosted by North Carolina native and highly acclaimed rapper J. Cole, Dreamville Festival will fill Dorothea Dix Park with big names like SZA, Big Sean, 21 Savage, 6lack, Nelly, and more. Proceeds benefit J. Cole’s Dreamville Foundation and Dix Conservancy.

You can still snag some General Admission tickets online, so buy yours before April 6th.

Beer & Bacon Festival

Bacon, mac & cheese, beer, wine, cider—the Beer & Bacon Festival on April 6th is about a whole lot more than just one food and one drink. The festival will feature over 75 craft beers, wine, spirits, and ciders, 16 different mac & cheese flavors, 12 restaurants, and, of course, bacon.

Depending on the tickets you buy, you’ll gain access to tasting sessions, souvenirs, live entertainment, cooking demos, and more!

Mid-Town Square Spring Festival

Celebrating its 4th year of operation, the Mid-Town Square Spring Festival on April 13th will fill Downtown Cary with beer, bands, food trucks, vendors, and activities for residents of all ages. The festival is totally free to attend and will even feature new beer releases from the popular local brewery Bond Brothers!

Spring Fest 2019

Live, local, and one of the most highly anticipated events of the month, Spring Fest fills Hillsborough Street with art, music, food and drink, and tons of activities. Hosted on April 13th, this year’s fest will include Main Stage performances, an art market, a Kid’s Zone, a food truck rodeo, and craft beer from Raleigh Brewing.

Brewgaloo

The premier event of Raleigh Beer Month, Brewgaloo kicks off on April 26th and is one of the most popular Raleigh events all year. With a Friday night block party followed up by a Saturday afternoon street festival, Brewgaloo brings in over 110 North Carolina breweries with a vast array of flavors and styles. Grab your tasting tickets, take in live music, and fill up on plenty of tasty food trucks!

Spring Daze

One of the final main events during the month of April, Spring Daze combines the arts, Earth Day, and local flavors for a day-long outdoor celebration. Enjoy work from over 170 artists, listen to live music on four stages, and try out one of the many food trucks in attendance. Kicking off April 27th, Spring Daze is Cary’s premier Earth Day (and spring) celebration.
